Aleksei is a contemporary artist for more 20 years. I create works in the affective realism style. Dwelling on emotions, trusting intuition and searching for unexpected uncertainty allows him to see things from a broader perspective, to go beyond everyday thinking.

In this collaborative piece, we seek to manifest art that transcends the boundaries of the physical and digital realms. Aleksei as a physical studio artist, and Paper as digital artist - come together to harmonize our thoughts, visions and styles into one singular piece that is definitive of the zeitgeist of our era.

The art speaks and manifests a vision of the subject’s mind, in a seemingly otherworldly environment. Hints of a simulacra is evident, yet the subject seems ‘lost’. It speaks abouts phenomena of the contemporary; a dilemma of sorts as the boundaries of reality blurs, made possible by the rapid advent of technology.
