I am Checksy, an artist who creates checkered artwork. Despite facing abuse, poverty, and oppressive environments since childhood, I've never stopped pursuing my passion for checkered art. The checkered pattern has become my identity and symbolizes the complexities of life. In my checkered artworks, I create a symphony of vertical and horizontal lines that coexist independently. I perceive life as checkered lines coexisting in different directions. As they momentarily intertwine, they evoke a myriad of emotions, ranging from happiness to frustration or even a sense of indifference. However, by unwaveringly following your own path, these lines converge to form your own unique checkered pattern. My journey into the art and NFT space has been a profound fusion of my unwavering childhood dream and the evolving digital landscape of artistic expression. Ever since I can remember from my early childhood, I held a steadfast belief that my destiny lay in becoming an artist. This conviction was deeply ingrained in me, and it remained resolute even in the face of resistance from my environment and the obstacles I encountered.
The transition into the art and NFT space was a natural progression for me. I see the NFT space as one of the diverse avenues to expand and share my art with a global audience. It's a space that allows me to blend the traditional and the digital, breaking the boundaries between physical and digital art.
As I move forward, my commitment remains unwavering – to continue creating art that transcends the physical and digital divide. I believe that art knows no bounds, and this journey into the NFT space is an extension of that belief, offering new ways to connect with art enthusiasts around the world.
